The property is wheelchair accessible and comes with a 22-metre infinity pool great for laps or relaxing on the sunken loungers and swim-up bar with a sunset cocktail and an outdoor movie theatre, make for a perfect evening’s entertainment whilst the kids play on the lawns or in the dedicated playground, and nothing surpasses the 400-metre world class training gym.

Arrival at Baan Kilee can be via private jet, yacht or other commercial means.

Baan Kilee, part of the Chai Talay Estate, has a strong ethos of sustainability and eco-consciousness and is a ‘single-use plastic’ free resort — the villa will not provide single-use plastic bottles, bags, straws or cutlery and crockery. Guests are encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottles and be conscious of their environmental impact during their stay. If not possible, guests can purchase branded aluminium bottles at the villa.

Chai Talay Estate sponsors the Sisters on Samui Community Gardens Initiative – a project whereby families can grow and harvest their own fresh vegetables and fruits through the use of land banks donated to the local community. The initiative came into effect during the COVID-19 pandemic as thousands of local people suffered job losses, without furlough or severance.

Many of our guests offered to contribute to those affected by the pandemic. Since 1 acre of organic gardens spans part of the Chai Talay Estate, the donation of land banks to the SoS Community Garden Initiative was deemed to be the best vehicle to extend assistance.

With this, guests can freely enjoy the gardens and the organic produce whilst knowing their stay at Chai Talay Estate helps support the local community. In-villa guests also have the option to donate to the project directly. If a guest’s scheduled stay is postponed or cancelled, Chai Talay Estate ensures that a percentage of cancellation fees are donated to the cause.

The Upstairs Master Suite with high cathedral ceilings spans the entire upper floor of the villa, affording it with gorgeous views of Lipa Noi Bay and the Five Islands from the King Sized 4 poster bed and the Suite’s private terrace. The crowning aspect of Master Suite’s en-suite bathroom is a sunken terrazzo bath, and an adjoining air-conditioned twin room for children or for use as a day spa massage room.

The Beachsuite Master Suite boast glass walls on two sides to keep this living space connected to the surrounding world as one looks directly out to sea. The Beachsuite also offers a sleeping alcove with trundle beds, for younger kids, who wish to be closer to their parents. Guests in the Garden Suite can access the Beachside Suite, via an adjoining garden, with an interconnecting and lockable door, excellent for larger families with younger children. Both the Garden and Beachside Suites feature breathtaking outdoor bathrooms, with sunken tubs perfect for stargazing.

Opening onto garden with full sea views, the two Mezzanine Suites are two-story buildings with white wood vaulted ceilings coupled with vibrant colours. The two downstairs suites have 4 poster beds with options for King or twin, and both feature an attic style stairwell for pure adventure, connecting the bathroom to the upper level of the suite. The upper levels are suitable for children over 8 years old, young adults, singles or friends. Should guests prefer not to use the upper level, the guests/kids can sleep downstairs where mattresses (from the upper level) can be set up on the floor.

The Lily Pond Suite, twin or double, is home to green lily pond views and boasts a wrap-around terrace with seating area so as to help supervise the kids in the playground. Located in the Kids zone, this suite has a connecting door to the kids’ pool and access to an acre of lawns which will surely be a favourite for their daily football games.

Extra beds are allowed in all Baan Kilee suites.
